2008 NCAA Basketball Tournament (view as slideshow)
The No. 7-seeded WVU men's basketball team made a run in this year's tournament with wins over No. 10 seed Arizona (75-65) and No. 2 seed Duke (73-67) before losing in overtime to No. 3 seed Xavier (79-75). In the women's tournament, No. 5 seed WVU won a tough first round match-up with New Mexico (61-60) before falling to Vanderbilt (64-46) in the second round.
